Vintage Japanese Shamisen Salt & Pepper shakers.
These are marked .950 Sterling silver on the back of the neck
44 grams total weight.  Heavier than most.
they need cleaning / polish
the doors slide  correctly
A Shamisen is a three stringed musical banjo like instrument.
No damage, I believe these were the earlier version before switching to regular 925 sterling.
