This might be something more like a piece of art you hang from a rod in your living room than something to wear. It's a heavily embroidered silk. The embroidery is mainly metal threads that are couched into place. The embroidery where the body of the dragons and phoenixes are is much thicker and 3 dimensional. The metallic threads are in various colors. There are fancy frog closures. I do not know when it was made. If you plan on wearing it I would say it's an xxs. My mannequin is an xs and I couldn't close the jacket.. The measurement underarm to underarm is 19 inches. From shoulder to hem is 24 inches at the back. Inside is lined in apricot silk. There is much symbolism in this robe from the Dragon and Phoenix theme (husband and wife). The flaming pearl as a symbol of knowledge is chased by the dragon. This is in excellent shape This looks like it was never worn.
