    Description

    Up for sale is this antique 1783 Boston, MA handwritten receipt for a barrel of sugar.  The receipt is for Mr. Matthias Bent who purchased the goods from Samuel Cravath.  The payment was made to a man named Perrin May.  The paper measures approximately 5 1/4 inches by 8 1/8 inches.  The paper has a few tiny fold line tears and some other typical signs of wear and age.  Please look at the scans to note the condition.
