    BEAUTIFUL ANTIQUE LATE 19th/ EARLY 20th c CHINESE 2- PARTS EMBROIDERED SILK WALLET!
    Up for the auction is a beautiful antique from the late 19th century/ early 20th century Qi'ing dynasty Chinese 2-parted silk embroidered wallet. Usually these kind of wallets were worn over a belt.
    The beautiful light blue color silk wallet finely embroidered in bright multi-colored silk threads using satin stitches and tiny seed stitches. The embroidery features a sea man sailing on boat with a fish in the water and a bird up in the air.
    The black silk wallet embroidered mostly entirely in finest seed stitches using multi- colored threads and features some type of gazebo in a blooming garden near a river. A sea shell and a crab embroidered in the lower part near the water.
    Extremely finely worked piece- just look at the pictures!
    The wallet measures 14.5” (36.8 cm) long (both parts together); 3 6/8” (9.2 cm) x 3.5" (8.9 cm) each of the small wallets.
    Condition: VERY GOOD antique
    condition, considering the old age of the piece, with no damages or imperfections aside fading to reverse side of the blue silk panel connecting the 2 wallets. Otherwise VERY GOOD. The wallet makes an incredible display!
