    Description

I believe this to be early 19th Century.   It has what appears to be a woven silk ground with embroidery.  I'm uncertain if this is Kesi or Kosu, the ground is unusual compared to other Chinese tapestry I've seen.  I have included close-ups to help discern.
It includes animals and urns as well as a spider in the top right corner, possibly a serpent behind one earn.  The motifs are outlined with gold couching stitches.
Guaranteed old and authentic.   This auction is for the tapestry only, the frame IS NOT included in the auction.
It is in under glass in an old black thin frame, and appears to have been framed for a very long time.  Frame NOT included.
The frame IS NOT included as part of the auction.
However, I will attempt to include the frame if the buyer wishes, and will tape the glass, I will ship to the best of my ability.   However I cannot guarantee the frame or glass would not be damaged and do not include the frame in the purchase, the frame is not part of the auction.
International buyers:  This will be shipped WITHOUT the frame.   The frame is NOT included as part of the auction.
Approximate Measurements: 4" inches wide x 20 inches long.
