This is a beautifully detailed single Antique Peranakan / Nyonya Baba Gilt Silver end piece for a Bolster Pillow (
Bantal Peluk)
from Penang, Malaysia  This detailed piece
dates from the early part of the 1900's.  This Bolster End was purchased in the early 1970's by my father when he owned an Antique Shop in the Rasa Sayang Hotel on Batu Ferringhi Beach in Penang.
The Bolster End has not been polished and retains it’s original patina.  Applying silver polish would drastically change the item's appearance if you prefer a shinier / newer looking piece.
Bolster End Dimensions: 3 3/4 inches in Diameter.  Weight: 1.2 ounces
