Description:
Antique Chinese silk robe with Peking Knot embroidered floral and polychrome silk embroidery.The design has butterflies and other Chinese symbols.  The silk robe is mainly in good strong condition but there is damage and work to be done. The back of the collar, there is wear on the dark silk and there are some scattered water or age marks. The trim has loss in places and the inner silk lining  has wear so maybe that should be removed. There is loss on the added trim and some loss on the metallic embroidery. The main part of the silk robe is good and strong, damage mainly on armbands and back of collar. So WORK NEEDED but I think certainly worth repairing.
