Up for auction is this fine antique Chinese silk embroidered panel textile with beautiful butterflies / insects and flower blossoms throughout. Even the white border trim has cute little butterflies in the design.
Framed behind glass and looks to be in very good condition. Perhaps part of a robe or larger tapestry originally.
Great detail and workmanship in this handmade piece! I believe it could date the late 19th / early 20th C.
Frame measures 13.5” inches wide and 28” inches long. The back has hanging wires to allow you to display this either vertically or horizontally so it is ready to display however you like!
Would make a fantastic display piece, fine addition to a collection, or a great gift!
