Magnifying Glass Map Reader Nautical (Antique) One of a kind!

Description

I will tell you all I know about this piece.  It was made in France, there is an inscription in the glass and next to the word FRANCE there is what appears to be a 5 pointed flower. I have done research on this and found nothing. When I acquired this magnifying glass it was all black with soot and after I cleaned it I noticed it was brass and glass. I can tell this is old and I believe it is an antique. I am pricing it high as I have not seen anything like this on eBay ever!!  I believe it is a very unique piece and therefore the price is reflective of that.
