Handcrafted in England using the same traditional skills used to create the bears of days gone by, this Punkie has been made using Merrythought's original 1949 Punkinhead pattern!
This little Punkie is so adorable wearing a removable lion outfit made of ultra soft plush. So cute! His five-way jointed body is hand sewn from golden mohair with tipping for added depth. For a charming touch of detail, he has embroidered paw pads that mimic those of a real lion. Measuring 8 inches, Punkie Lion Cub is bean-filled for extra softness and the perfect hug. His amusing little face comes together with friendly eyes and a cheerful hand-stitched expression. Punkie Lion Cub JP8LCB is a Merrythought edition limited to only 75 pieces worldwide. Suitable for ages 3 and up. Please remove all accessories, ribbons and labels before giving to a child aged below age 3.

The company is a fourth generation family business founded by Mr W.G Holmes in 1930 as a diversification from his mohair mill in Yorkshire. Over the years a huge range of teddy bears, soft toys, dolls, push-along toys, rocking horses and other animals have been created in the famous factory.
