Very Rare Late 19th Century Chinese Export Foo Lion, Foo Dog Trinket Box Coin Silver (90% silver) Marked on Bottom
.
This is very rare Chinese foo dog foo lion made for export market dating back to late 19th century.
There is a marking on bottom but can't make out what it says. The foo lion fits nicely but there appears to be
an old repair just below the tail and one of the front paw seems to be dented.
This foo dog is made of coin silver (90% silver) and not sterling silver.
Please review all the photos. I did not clean this because I wanted to keep in an original condition.
There are only two other ones similar to this one on ebay so you can compare this one to other two.
Item is in good condition overall with wear, old repair, dent and dirt. Please review all the photos as part of description.
