Description

Atocha Coin In a 14k Bezel.
This is rare coin with no authenticity papers that is wrapped in a gold bezel.
Reversed letters and designed elements on silver “cob” coinage produced by the Potosi mint might have been the work if an employee suffering from a reading disorder. It was minted by a Dyslexic Mint worker by the name of Potosi. The coin was minted during the 1622 - 22 period.
I have the historic information of the theory associated with minted variations in a document first indicated by Louis D.Hudson in 1619 - 22. And the first person who first considered dyslexia as a possible cause of the variations, Leah L.Miguel in 1977.
The “dyslexic” features of these rare and strange coins fall into three basic categories:
1. Mintmark variations
2. Transposed elements of the Hapsburg shield
3. 2. Transpositions and reversals within legends and designs outside the shield
I can forward the information of this theory for your consideration prior to the purchase of this rare and unusual Atocha coin.
