Vintage ESME Chinese Royal Blue Silk Embroidered Scenic Roundels Robe Long Coat
This vintage ESME Chinese royal blue silk embroidered scenic roundels robe long coat dates from the 1950s. It is made of a bright royal blue color silk rayon blend fabric, with colorful embroidered roundels medallions of scenic garden pagoda shrine temples and flowers with tiny Peking knot stitches stamens. This beautiful blue surcoat style robe coat is a long full length, with a mandarin collar, long full sleeves, white silk colorful floral embroidered cuffs, collar, trim edging, bright golden yellow silk trim edging, knotted button pankou toggle trim closures down the front, is fully lined in a blue silk fabric and has an "ESME Made in China" label and size Medium tag sewn inside. The robe measures 41 inches long, with a 42 inch chest, 42 inch waist, 42 inch hips and 14 inch neck. It is in excellent condition. This is truly a wonderful piece of Chinese wearable art!
